Wolf Pack Catholic
The mission of Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Newman Center is to lead the university community to encounter and respond to Jesus through ministries of Word, Sacrament and Prayer in Christian Fellowship.
We’re here for more than just Sunday mass; Wolf Pack Catholic is your home for community, faith, and good times right on campus. Whether you’re looking to make new friends, pray, or just need a place to study or relax in our private study rooms, we’ve got you covered. From bible studies to social hangouts, group discussions to movie nights, there’s something for everyone here.
Faith
Dive deeper into your spiritual journey with engaging discussions, and practical ways to live out your Catholic faith. Attend weekly Masses on campus where you can strengthen your faith, meet other Catholic students, and engage in inspiring worship and reflection. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, Wolf Pack Catholic will help you find a place to grow in your friendship with Christ.
Friendship
Meet students, build friendships that matter, and become part of a thriving community where you belong. Join us for social events like movie nights and our free student lunches that bring students together outside of Mass.
Encounter Christ
Serve by feeding the homeless along with other wolfpack catholic students. We offer mission trips both nationally and internationally during Spring Break. Each January FOCUS missionaries take students to SEEK, a national conference for students and young adults to encounter the Lord in fellowship, prayer, and incredible international speakers. We hold a retreats each semester which are held onsite and allow a break in routine and to rekindle your relationship with the Lord.

Candlelight Mass: 8:30 PM

10:00 AM, 5:00 PM, and 8:00 PM (8:00 PM Mass is only during the academic year)
Enjoy complimentary doughnuts and coffee after the 10:00am Sunday Mass and
snacks between the 5:00pm and 8:00pm Sunday Masses
Social Opportunities and Fun
Wolf Pack Catholic hosts events like movie nights, BBQs, foosball, a pool table, a waffle bar on Friday mornings, seasonal parties, and after Mass hospitality. Dive into a faith community that’s fun, supportive, and committed to living out Catholic values.
Christian Service
We work alongside groups like The Food Bank and The Reno Burrito Project. We believe in fostering the Christ like spirit of giving and compassion, and we invite you to participate in our outreach initiatives that support local charities and provide assistance to those in need.
Faith Formation Classes
Enhance your understanding of the Catholic faith through our engaging activities and small groups designed for students at all stages of their spiritual journey. The Newman Center’s Catholic Wolf Pack is a vibrant community where you can connect with others on a spiritual level, share faith experiences, and find inspiration among your peers.
